English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
ESOL classes are for people already living and working in the UK for whom English is not their first language
We offer a variety of classes
- general English (including grammar)
- conversation (speaking and listening)
- writing
- grammar
- English for Academic purposes (including preparation for IELTS)
- workshops for individual work
Levels of English
We offer classes for all levels from beginners to more advanced (pre-Entry to Level 2)
Where are our classes held
Most classes are held at the Adult College, others in venues in Lancaster and Morecambe. If there is a need for a class we can set one up in the North Lancashire area, including workplaces.
How to get a place on a course
Before joining a class you need an interview with an ESOL tutor to find out your level, your needs and to place you in the best class for you.
Costs
You may have to pay for courses. Please ask for more information when you contact the college.
Please note we do not offer full time courses.
