Student Support/Prayer Room

A quiet place for students.

Room 302 is the college’s dedicated Student Support/Prayer Room.

The Student Support/Prayer Room can be used:

  • as a quiet space for coping with anxiety or crisis
  • as a place to relax and escape busy areas of college
  • as a place to pray or worship privately
  • as a place for one-to-one tutorials, learning support sessions, assessments and reviews
  • as a place for trying out assistive technology and accessing other learning resources.

Guidelines for priority use

The Student Support/Prayer Room is a space prioritised for students.

However, if the room is free it can also be booked by staff for:

  • accessing and borrowing teaching and teaching resources
  • trying out assistive technology
  • small meetings
  • drop-ins.

Please be aware that staff may have to leave the room if needed by a student for any of the above!
