Completing 10 units will give you a Level 3 NVQ for Teaching Assistants
The QCA have defined a Level 3 qualification as follows:
- Denotes competence which involves the application of knowledge and skills in a broad scope of varied work activities performed in a variety of contexts, most of which are complex and non-routine.
- There is considerable responsibility and autonomy at this level.
- 10 unit qualification
- You must achieve all the mandatory units (units 006 - 009) plus six optional units (units 010 - 028). The optional units are in four groups - A, B, C, D, and you must select one unit from each group plus any two others.
