Family Learning
Encourage your families to have fun learning together!
Parents making games to help their children learn.
Grandparents can get involved too!
We offer Family Learning in schools, Early Years settings and community venues across North Lancashire. Our courses fall into two main categories, Family Literacy, Language and Numeracy (FLLN) and Wider Family Learning.
FLLN courses give parents information about what their children are learning in school and how they can support them, as well as providing opportunities for the parents themselves to re-engage with learning and improve their own literacy, numeracy or language skills.
Courses include:
- Early Start
- Family Literacy
- Family Numeracy
- Family Finance
- Keeping Up With the Children
Wider Family Learning includes courses for parents focussing on aspects of parenting, the growing child, healthy eating and First Aid. It also offers opportunities for parents and children to learn together through courses in ICT, arts and craft, First Aid, play, healthy eating and languages.
