English Language and Literature – OCNW Level 3 Stage B

The language element explores the structure and applications of language in everyday life, examining both the spoken and written word. Assessment is by coursework and end of year exam.
National Certificate in Adult Literacy.
Would you like a national qualification in English to reward your success? The National Certificate in Adult Literacy is a multiple choice question test, similar to the driving theory test, which is available to anyone over 16 who does not already hold an English qualification (e.g. GCSE). Getting a qualification will:
  • Give you confidence in your own abilities.
  • Help you get onto some further courses of study.
  • Provide evidence of your skills to go on your CV.
  • Show employers what you can do.
