First Steps or Introductory Courses

First Step courses are for learners newly returning to study who have few or no formal qualifications. The pace is gentle and enables learners to build their confidence and study skills.

These are Level 1 courses

Confidence Building and Assertiveness

Counselling

Drug Use and Misuse

Social Sciences (Intro to Criminology, Psychology and Sociology)

Pre-GCSE English

Pre-GCSE Maths

First step IT courses are also available.
