Social Ethics and Values – OCNW Level 2 Stage A
Cloning, euthanasia, animal research: the modern world presents people with wide–ranging dilemmas: personal, professional, moral, ethical, religious. This course gives students an opportunity to explore and consider both personal and professional ethics and values, within a structured programme. Assessment is by coursework and portfolio.

Qualification Descriptions

OCNW Level 1/START
courses are short introductory and specialist courses of up to 10 weeks duration.
OCNW Level 2 Stage As
are an equivalent level to GCSEs but are shorter in length. Assessment is by portfolio and written assessment.
OCNW Level 3 Stage Bs
are an equivalent to A2s (previously A Levels). Assessment is by written assignments, projects and end of year exams. Level 3 courses are intensive and demanding in terms of time, commitment and skills.
Study Skills
are an integral part of the access to HE programme. Classes and workshops are held throughout the year to help you with reading for your course, writing essays and preparing for tests and exams.
